Dear Library Partner,

Below is a summary of updates to your OverDrive-powered website, which are now live, and changes to OverDrive Read that will be made in the coming weeks.

New on your OverDrive-powered website

 * On the account Settings page, users have the option to enable the “Dyslexic font<http://www2.overdrive.com/e/28502/about-/3dqs6b/478394783>,” which is designed with a heavy-weighted bottom to increase readability for users with dyslexia. Turning on this setting will update all text at the site to the dyslexic font.

 * The waiting list display now shows the user’s hold position as a ratio. Instead of displaying the total number of patrons waiting, users now see the number of holds per copy. This gives users a better idea of when to expect the title.

The ratio represents the total number of holds divided by the total number of copies owned, rounded up to the nearest whole number. Advantage patrons will see the ratio adjust accordingly once they have signed in.

 * General performance enhancements and bug fixes.
Note for Multilingual Websites: The dyslexic font setting is not yet available in some languages (Hebrew, Russian, Japanese, and Simplified/Traditional Chinese). All other updates will be included in site translations.

Coming soon to OverDrive Read

 * The OverDrive Read menu is getting a new look to match OverDrive Listen. The menu will slide out from the left. You will be able to access the menu on larger screens by pressing the familiar “Menu” button at the top of the screen, or on smaller screens by tapping the center of the screen, then the menu icon which looks like this: [http://www2.overdrive.com/l/28502/2015-05-29/3ckf67/28502/112390/read3.jpg]

 * In the “Readability Settings,” you’ll be able to select the “Assistive” book design to turn on dyslexic font in the eBook’s text.
