What I was thinking of was the History of the La. Library Assoc., 1925-2000. 
The index lists  Amanda as vice chair of Public Library Section for 1980-81. 
She was chair for 1981-82. It does not list the members of the Bookmobile 
Interest Group, and Amanda's name is not listed in the index for anything 
else.
