Fellow LSW members:

 

I put my check in the mail yesterday.  Apologize for not meeting the Oct. 1
deadline, but I hope Jessica gets it today.  

 

Most important:  The meeting October 14 will be held at LaGrange HS Library
(3420 Louisiana Avenue - right off the Interstate 210).  There is no room at
our place since we are getting thousands of books delivered for the schools.
Hope you understand.  Donna Franklin & Patti Fontenot (librarians) will be
there as well as I.  So, you are in good hands.  I think the LaGrange
Library will be a good introduction to inner-city school libraries, and you
will enjoy the experience.

Reminder:

 

The Monthly Meeting of LSW will be held on Wednesday, October 14th  at 10:00
a.m. at the Calcasieu Parish School Library, 2423 6th Street in Lake
Charles. 

 

The Author Dinner will be held on Tuesday, October 20th at Pats of Henderson
Restaurant, 1500 Siebarth Dr., Lake Charles.  A cash bar will be set up for
5:30

 

And dinner will begin at 6:30.  Thank you.
