[Lswtalk] LSW board

At yesterday's meeting, some questions came up about who is currently on 
the LSW board.  Here's what I've found relating to the LSW board:

 From our Articles of Incorporation :
Article VI
(a)
The corporate powers and management of the corporation shall be
vested in and exercised by LSW Board of six (6) members composed of two (2)
three (3) members from each of the following three groups: Trustees; (1) 
Public
Library employees: and (2) Academic, School, Special, and Other Member 
library
employees.
[...]
(b)
Election of the LSW board Directors may be at a meeting or by mail
and will be held annually in the fall spring for appointment beginning 
January 1 of
the following year. Any unexpired term occurring among the LSW Board by 
death,
resignation, or otherwise shall be filled by election by the remaining 
members of the
LSW Board.
Terms of office shall be for two-year, commencing with the election. 
Terms of
office for the first election will be as follows: Each group will elect 
one member to a
one-year term and one member to a two-year term. Thereafter all will be 
elected to
a two-year term except those selected to fill a vacant position, who 
will serve the
remainder of the unexpired term.



The last time it was discussed was August 2014 when we appointed the 
2014-2015 board which consisted of Danielle Manuel, Renee Grantham, and 
myself representing public libraries and Helen Curol, Mary Frances 
Sherwood, and Debbie Johnson-Houston representing school & academic 
libraries.

Terms are for 2 years.  Erin, Debbie, Mary-Frances & Danielle were on 
the 2013-2014 board, too, so those positions expired after the 2014-2015 
term and should have been "refilled" at a meeting last fall.
