[Vplmail] Vernon Parish Library offers free computer classes

Dear Library Patron:
 
We are excited to offer a series of free computer classes.
Free Computer Classes. The Vernon Parish Library will host a series of free classes. These classes is offered by the State Library of Louisiana in partnership with the Vernon Parish Library. The classes will include hand-on training. Each class begins at 9 am and ends at 5 pm (unless noted). Participants must be older than 16, and must register in advance (lajacc.state.lib.la.us/training) or by calling 888-487-2700. Size of class is limited to 15 students. 
The training is presented by MS Gold Certified Partner trainers and funded through BroadbandUSA grant as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Training will include job search skills, career best practices, communication skills and basic computer skills.

Dec. 21 Advanced Home Wireless configurations (afternoon)

Jan. 11 Mastering the Interview
Jan. 18 Conquering your fear of Public Speaking
Jan. 25 Resume building and beyond
