[Vplmail] Hannah Austin Concert at Vernon Parish Library

             The Vernon Parish Library is happy to host Hannah Austin, from Pitkin, La., in concert, Monday, February 28, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Library's meeting room. This is a free concert and the public is invited to attend. 
            Hannah Austin is a 15 year old teenager, who lives near Pitkin, LA. She attends Rosepine High School where she is a sophomore. Hannah is the daughter of Bruce and Dannette Austin and the granddaughter of Modina Stracener.
            Hannah enjoys music, which includes singing, dancing, piano, and guitar. She loves all styles of music, both old and new. Hannah has been singing since she was 10 years old, and has traveled to several states and many different churches performing. She has won numerous talent contests. She has had the privilege of opening for several well known gospel groups.
            This summer Hannah has plans to work with a promoter in Nashville, and to appear on the Gospel Music Showcase in Pigeon Forge, TN.
