You are no longer stuck with the driver situation, and the reason I went 
with the Promise chip instead of the onboard Serverworks chipset was speed. 
The serverworks chipset was only ATA-33 while the Promise chipset was 
ATA-100. I put a harddisk on each Promise port and used one of the 
serverworks ports for a CD-ROM drive.
