I don't since they aren't very good cards.
A little too old for my tastes and does not have raid5 features.
Get a 6000 or 7000 series if you can.
I saw a 6410 on ebay end yesterday for $49.

Any experience with the 5000 series 3ware cards?=20

As others suggested, 3ware is a good choice for hardware raid =
solutions in linux. In fact, they may be the only, but don't hold me to =
this.
I just picked up a 3ware escalade 6200 series raid card off ebay for =
around $50 used. It is an excellent card. Does raid0,1,10, and JBOD. I =
currently set up a RAID1 array with unmatched drives (for testing =
purposes) and then proceeded to install WBEL on it. The installer =
immediately saw the 3ware controller and treated it as a SCSI =
controller, thus the drive became /dev/sda. I loaded the 3ware disk =
utility for linux and it allows web-based administration of the raid =
arrays.
So far I am loving this card. Drivers built into the kernel, awesome =
performance (made the raid1 array in about 5mins vs 20mins with software =
raid in linux), good support, upgradeable (I flashed the firmware of the =
controller to latest version), and three year warranty (if it was new).
You can do hot spares and hot swapping of drives with any 4 or more =
port 3ware controller. So if you want a completely redundant setup, get =
a 4 port off ebay (which I may do soon).

    Just my $0.02.

I have installed WBEL and am 'kicking the tires'. So far it looks =
very good. I'll be testing the machine for use as a RADIUS =
authentication & email server in actual production soon.=20

One thing I insist on in my servers is hardware RAID, and I have =
standardized on the Highpoint hpt372 chip. The Highpoint driver worked =
fine for RH 8 & 9, but it doesn't work at all for WBEL.

I was on the phone with Highpoint support this morning and was =
told that the RH9 driver is not compatible with the RHEL3 kernel. They =
expect to release a RHEL3 compatible driver very soon, perhaps as early =
as this week. That driver should work fine with WBEL.
