Hello,

=20

Please excuse my naivete, but I am having challenges creating a bootable
Disk 1 for WBEL. A detailed list of what I have done is at the end of
this message. However, I'll just cut to the chase for the moment. The
only bootdisk.img I have found so far that CD-Roast will tolerate was on
a RH9 install disk. Once the CD was burned it did indeed boot, but then
complained that it couldn't find a RH Distro CD. CD-Roast seems fairly
adamant about the size of the boot image as well. The FAQ and How-To
were helpful but just not quite there from a "step-by-step" perspective.

=20

It seems the RH9 disk just burned and booted or have I forgotten
something? Should I get an older bootdisk.img? Does someone have some 1,
2, 3 steps and files for this process?

=20

Thanks,

Johnny Manley

1.) Downloaded WBEL iso images and burned to CD with CD-Roast; Disk1
no boot.

2.) Tried burning CD with boot image; no suitable image for CD-Roast.

3.) Tried Nero on Windows but v6 interface has cleverly hidden the
bootable CD options...

4.) How-To suggested boot image from Red Hat CD; CD-Roast liked image
size.

5.) Booted from new WBEL CD, RH install began.

6.) RH install (anaconda?) fails with "No Red Hat Distro CD found,
goodbye".

7.) ?
