I think there is a version of the "top" utility that has been modified in some versions of RHEL, so that it only shows one cpu by default. Check the help or the man, I think there is a key you'll need to press to get it show all the cpu's.... :) Dave -- OSIS Dave J. Hala Jr. 641.485.1606
