[WBEL-users] X Server won't start with 2.4.21-20 kernel

I recently pulled down the latest updates with "yum -update", and now
my X server won't start. The error from the XFree86.log file is:

(EE) GARTInit: unable to open /dev/agpgart (No such device)

If I try to do a "insmode agpgart" I get the following error:

Using /lib/modules/2.4.21-20.0.1.EL/kernel/drivers/char/agp/agpgart.o
/lib/modules/2.4.21-20.0.1.EL/kernel/drivers/char/agp/agpgart.o:
init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg

The problem also occurs with the 2.4.21-20 kernel but not with the
2.4.21-15 kernel. The system is an old Compaq Presario (700 MHz PIII).
The hint about IO or IRQ parameters is not helpful (to me), as the
older kernel works just fine on the same hardware.

Any ideas?
