I just downloaded and tested the Fedora rhn-applet version 2.1.5 (that
includes support for ftp yum sources).  William Hooper provided the <a
href="http://beau.org/pipermail/whitebox-devel/2004-January/000678.html">Post</a> concerning where to get the applet ... and you must search for and replace redhat-release with whitebox-release per Mr. Hooper's other <a href="http://beau.org/pipermail/whitebox-users/2003-December/000168.html">post</a> ... but after doing both, FTP WBEL sources work with the applet. (in the file /etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources)

Both these posts were made long ago ... but I just got around to trying
it.
