Because reiserfs module is in kernel-unsupported package. You have to
install this package to be able to mount ReiserFS.

ReiserFS is in unsupported because Hans Reiser and it's filesystem has
another direction than rock-stability for looong time. ReiserFS change
its binary representation almost every year and bring sexy features to
users. ReiserFS has always trouble with moving data to new binary
representation (ie converting utility), has troubles with Quota, has
troubles with reiserfsck and more...

So use ReiserFs for your own risk.
