[WBEL-users] skip anaconda? what would i be missing?

hi,

what happens if i skip anaconda and try to build a system without it?

i've got knoppix3.4 running from CD, from there i can partition and just
pull everything in with yum.  but will it run when i'm done?

i'll bet there's a list of tweaks done by anaconda.  i'll bet the distro
relies on those tweaks.  is there anywhere a neat list of whatever
anaconda does to the filesystem other than install the RPMs?
