It's the 905B.  If you have revision C the problem goes away.  I
read recently (in the last week), someone said it had something to
do with a bad interaction between kudzu and the 3C905B.  We had the
same problem here.  The odd part, was it just "happened", after
years of using the card.  I just assumed it was the revision B was
defective in some manner under Linux.  We just swapped them out with
cards in Windows boxes, and took the revision C's from windows and
they worked fine.

The way I know that's screwy, is that at one point at least, 3Com
put out different drivers for the 3C905B versus the A's and C's.
