For those having trouble installing from CD's, first make sure you cd 
downloaded and burned properly by checking the md5sums, as described by 
ohters. 

If you have a good disc and it still doesn't work, I've had trouble on 
some cdrom drives, and got it to install using  'linux ide=nodma'   as 
the command to boot from the first cd.
