yum is the tool you're looking for.
If you just have one box, you can point the yum client at one of the
public repositories.
If you have multiple boxes, you probably want a local server on your LAN,
which is cake to set up (and I've documented it several times on mailing
lists so I'll refer you to Google for that).
The yum documentation is up to date enough for basic fetching up updates
but doesn't go into the advanced features like the group* commands.
You'll need to peruse the yum mailing list archives if you think you want
to go into the deeper end of the yum pool.
