To whom it may concern,

IBM DB2 ESE Version 8.1 (GA & FixPak 5) is up and running on Whitebox Linux 
(WBEL) 3 Update 1

Dell Latitude C600: PIII 1Ghz/512MB RAM/20GB IBM Travelstar Disk

After several WBEL/DB2 installation attempts and some tweaking, the IBM Java 
Client Applications are working so far against a partitoned instance.

When all else fails, follow instructions...
