Hello Michael,

Well... in fact it appeared to be a problem with CuteFTP.  He update his CuteFTP install and now it's working...I'm interested in the "individualized login script that causes sftp to fail"... would that be a .profile that runs commands such as "w" or "uptime" on login?MM
