Odd. I grabbed the tar.bz2 from alsa-project and it built fine. Then I 
compared it to the sources in the SRPM and they're 100% identical. So the 
spec file or the included patch in the SPRM must be introducting some 
error.... will dig on (can't stand these issues!)
