[WBEL-users] newbie: how to get ftpd started

I think you should better use vsftpd. It is the ftp server which is 
included with WBEL.

After install, you can start/stop it with :

chkconfig vsftpd on/off.

You can also activate through the general menu :

Menu-> Systemn settings ->Server settings-> services
