just ran up2date -u on console, and noticed the "new Up2date" note at the end.
after reboot, i ran the up2date gui, just to see what was new, progress bar 
promptly locked up on ncsu's mirror with an empty "ignored packages" 
install-selections gui behind it. i had to ctl/alt/backspace to get rid of it.
i did vi on sources, and commented out the yum-mirrors lines, forcing the beau 
wan option.
i reran the gui, and everything went perfectly. (this is on 56k dialup, gnome 
desktop, no devel pkgs)
quick and snappy, just like normal.
any comments/ideas?
