There is a newer release of GFS for the 2.4.21-20.EL kernel that should
build as is on WBEL here:

http://ftp.ndlug.nd.edu/pub/redhat/linux/updates/enterprise/3AS/en/RHGFS/SRPMS/

(or on other RedHat mirrors at updates/enterprise/3AS/en/RHGFS/SRPMS/)

The version that should build on 2.4.21-20.EL is GFS-6.0.0-7.1.src.rpm.
