No, that is not correct.  If you look at the documentation, it talks about 
limiting your partitions you create to a single drive when you create 
them.  If you don't, disk druid puts the partitions where it thinks they 
ought to go.  I think that may be your confusion.  Just create RAID 
partitions on both drives, and bind the partitions to the RAID devices 
later on in the process.

so if i read this correctly..software raid in linux is restricted 
to mirroring ont he same drive?  That defeats the purpose of 
having Raid then..that is not Raid that is imply mirroring on the 
same drive.  Correct me if i am wrong.  Raid from what i know is 
supposed to be across multiple disks..how do you make a ture 
software Raid span across multiple disks(as per Raid 1 and Raid 5)?
