[WBEL-users] FTP access to master updates folder

Michiel, it's nothing personal, but I don't want you or anyone else
having FTP access to the master updates folder.

Really! Even if this would mean faster updates.

I trust the WBEL maintainers, and I feel secure running their
software. I know that every package I get through up2date -- given
how I have it configured -- comes from these folks and no one else.

If you want to release other updates, and more quickly, you can do
this, and you can publish details on how to access it here, and people
who want more frequent updates and who trust you can configure
yum.conf to grab stuff from your servers... but don't assume that just
because you trust yourself, and that you want more aggressive and
quicker updates that EVERYONE who runs WBEL wants that.

Me, I want a stable, slow, rarely updated Linux. I left Fedora
because it was a freaking nightmare keeping up with all the updates.

Would I like slightly faster updates when security issues come up?
Sure. Is this super important to me? No, certainly not important
enough to start mixing and matching software from BEAU with software
from other people.
