NP,
First let me say I have been looking for a FTP site to upload, if I find one
I will post the address.
Well I basically followed this link:
http://www.linuxcompatible.org/story14425.html
Here is my ?condensed?/laymans version:
I did this in Windows XP PRO (sans SP2 of course ;-), don't ask why, ok I'll
tell ya!, I haven't installed linux yet on my new machine because it is
Intel SATA RAID 0 and I don't have the time but the procedure should not be
much, if at all, different on Linux:
1) Make a Dir for work being done (I called mine C:/Temp/WBDVD_work/)
2) Dump entire contents of 3 CDs in sub-directories eg.
C:/Temp/WBDVD_work/WBDisc1, C:/Temp/WBDVD_work/WBDisc2,
C:/Temp/WBDVD_work/WBDisc3
3) Next make your DVD iso Dir C:/Temp/WBDVD_work/WBDVDDisc
4) Here is where it gets slightly complicated (though not really but maybe I
my explanation might confuse some). COPY (not move) the isolinux directory
from the first cd to the working dir >xcopy /F /H /E
C:/Temp/WBDVD_work/WBDisc1/isolinux/ C:/Temp/WBDVD_work/isolinux you'll
need it for creating the bootable part of the DVD.
5) That wasn't that bad was it? Ok now copy all CONTENT (not the dirs
themselves) from all 3 discs into DVDiso dir (you could move instead if you
are running out space!) and let it overwrite. IE. xcopy /F /H /E
C:/Temp/WBDVD_work/WBDisc1/* C:/Temp/WBDVD_work/WBDVDDisc/ Repeat for all 3
discs. **(don't quote me on these command lines I just used the GUI :-P)
6) Now edit (yes I use the edit command in windows!!) .discinfo in your DVD
iso dir to include all three disc:
Orig .discinfo
1087246080.55
White Box Enterprise Linux 3.0 Respin 1
i386
1
RedHat/base
RedHat/RPMS
RedHat/pixmaps
Fourth line indicates which disc it is but you can add multiple discs by
comma separation! Your new .discinfo will look like:
1087246080.55
White Box Enterprise Linux 3.0 Respin 1
i386
1,2,3
RedHat/base
RedHat/RPMS
RedHat/pixmaps
7) Almost done, now from what I could find on the web you CAN NOT make a
bootable copy from most popular windows burning software, nero etc. they
said use mkisofs, luckily a windows port has been around for a while (just
google it!). I copied over mkisofs.exe and cygwin1.dll to my work dir
C:/Temp/WBDVD_work/ .
8) Next use this command to make ISO image (remember this is ONE command):
mkisofs.exe -o Whatever-You-Want-Here-dvd.iso -b isolinux/isolinux.bin -c
isolinux/boot.cat -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table -R -m
TRANS.TBL WBDVDDisc/
9) That’s it! You should have an ISO image that is about 1.7GB in size and
bootable. Now you can burn with any burning software with iso support.
***Usual Warranties, Dangers, Exceptions, "I told you so"s apply. Your
mileage may vary.**
Thanks!

How about a short writeup on how you did this so others can replicate it.
