Hi,

I have been waiting for the promised Whitebox respin 2 to be released
for several months now but to no avail. There is a real problem with the
fact that the current respin 1 disks will not install on a lot of the
latest hardware mainly because of lack of SATA support. This is causing
me major problems - I am being forced to do SUSE 9.* installs that I
could really do without.

Can someone let me know when respin 2 will be available for download?

If not, has someone got some instructions on how to create a new CD set
of my own. This can be just a "bodge" to get the OS installed, if that
is the simplest thing to do. I presume that it will need a new iso linux
kernel and the current install would need to be changed to install the
latest kernel RPM at a minimum, the rest can then be updated manually
after a reboot.

Thanks in advance for any help

Gary Mansell
