I have read this already but it goes a bit beyond my capabilities.

I was hoping that there may be some advice someone can give me to create
a "bodge" install cd just with the latest iso kernel to boot off of the
cd and also a way of installing a latest kernel during the installation
phase. I can then reboot the machine and up2date the rest of the
packages.

Does anyone know if anything like this is possible?
