[WBEL-users] WBEL on SATA plus Lotus Domino

Hi everyone
I have been interested to hear of people having SATA problems as I have =
been running WBEL on a SATA-based machine since August. The only =
distros we had that would install on SATA were Fedora 1, Mandrake and =
WBEL - and I did not want to run a mission-critical system on a =
constantly-changing desktop release so WBEL it was! I cannot say at =
present what exact mobo we are using, but it is a Gigabyte Titan Pentium =
4-Xeon model with two large SATA drives - but I am not using RAID.=20
It is blisteringly fast and WBEL seems very stable.
I am running Lotus Domino 6.5.1 on this machine as a mail server and so =
far it seems to be working pretty well. I promised a long while ago to =
give the url of a website which describes the process I used for setting =
up Domino on WBEL and here it is: www.sangster.freeuk.com/domino. Domino =
probably will not run on FC2 or 3 as it needs the 2.4 kernel.
