[WBEL-users] Hylafax on WBEL3.0 with ia32e platform

Hi all,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I could successfully install and run hylafax 4.2.0 on the x86_64 platform. I downloaded the source RPM hylafax-4.2.0-1rh9.src.rpm, installed it and recompiled it as usual. Of course there were lots of dependent packages that needed to be installed, including XFree86. I could easily install these using yum.

I still can run the server on runlevel 3 (without X). I think XFree86 is only needed because of the font/ghostscript/PDF stuff. My server is a dual xeon 3.4GHz proliant 370G4 with kernel 2.4.21-20.EL SMP for the ia32e platform. This box seems to run very nicely.
