Anyone here running it on Whitebox?

I find it in:

/etc/openldap
/usr/share/openldap (and some .gz in man directories)
and there is /usr/sbin/slapd

but in:

http://www.openldap.org/doc/admin22/guide.html

quick start, it talks about a configure script, and the installation 
section states:

Install the software.
You are now ready to install the software; this usually requires super-user 
privileges:

       su root -c 'make install'


Everything should now be installed under /usr/local (or whatever 
installation prefix was used by configure).

help?  What state are things here?  I see slapd in the adaconda cfg file....
