You are right, I just checked

ftp://mirror.physics.ncsu.edu/pub/whitebox/3.0/en/updates/SRPMS

and the version number for rpm is rpm-4.2.2-0.14.WB1.src.rpm while in

ftp://mirror.physics.ncsu.edu/pub/whitebox/3.0/en/updates/i386

the version number is rpm-4.2.3-10.WB1.i386.rpm

Could it be that this is first non open source rpm? :-)
