I was wondering if anyone has experienced any memory problems
when running Oracle on WBEL with large amounts of RAM installed. I have 16
GB of RAM on my DB server, and seem to have run into some sort of memory
leak. Before I open an itar with Oracle, I would like to know if anyone has
experienced the same behavior.

When I start my DB, I will have around 14 GB of RAM free when I cat
/proc/meminfo. After about 2 days of use this is down to about 2 GB. When
I shut down the DB the RAM does not get released. I have to reboot to
release the RAM. I am not sure if it is an Oracle issue or an OS problem.

Any advice on tuning WBEL for such large amounts of RAM or any help tracking
down memory leaks would be appreciated. I have followed the instruction for
installing ORACLE on linux from http://www.puschitz.com/OracleOnLinux.shtml
