[WBEL-users] configuring X when it's not running

I don't understand exactly what is meant below.  By bootup console, do you mean
what grub displays, or a non-X login?

Nonetheless, I managed to get it running.  I put in a working Nvidia card, got
that working, then configured for 'Ati Radeon 7000' and rebooted.

I said, yes, do remove the Nvidia driver, and 'do nothing' for the newly
found card, which it seems is 'ATI|Radeon RV100 QY [Radeon 7000/VE]'.

Then it worked.

Hmmmm.....

Why doesn't the X configuration tool have a 'test' feature?  Suse does, and
I thought RHEL 2.1 did.
