[WBEL-users] installation woes

Hi all.

I've had to reinstall WhiteBox.

I can't get X to run.  I recall I had this problem previously, but swapping out
the graphics card allowed me to come up with X.  Swapping back allowed me to
reconfigure with the one I wanted.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the other graphics card.

So how do I configure X from text mode?  I'm (somewhat gratutitiously :-) told
to run it from an ssh connection, but I need to enable ssh first.  Of course,
the tools to do that require X :-( At least the ones I know about.

Any suggestions?
