Certain.

For example :-

I'm running 2.4.21-27.0.2.EL...

Hmmm. My laptop keeps downloading headers, but doing "yum clean" doesn't
now seem to cause them to be reloaded. Interesting...

That's quite strange - I've got an athlon RPM for kernel-2.4.12-27, but
i686 for newer. But I have downloaded an i686 RPM for
kernel-2.4.21-32.0.1, and that's not being installed :-(
