It doesn't matter, it doesn't provide redhat-release.

[whooper at token RPMS]$ rpm -qp --provides whitebox-release-4-2.WB2.i386.rpm
config(whitebox-release) = 4-2.WB2
whitebox-release = 4-2.WB2

Yum doesn't care about the file system, it looks at the RPM database.  You
must change distroverpkg to whitebox-release, or rebuild the RPM to
provide redhat-release.
