No.  All WBEL 3 versions use a 2.4 kernel - the latest is 2.4.21-27.0.1
but the installed version from respin 1 will probably be different -
possibly 2.4.21-4.

It may be that RHEL4 (and presumably WBEL4 when it comes out) uses that
specific 2.6.9 kernel.

Look at the kernel RPM versions in os/i386/RedHat/RPMS/kernel* or
updates/i386/kernel*
