Hi, whitebox users.
I'm using WBEL 4 on my laptop and I'm trying to configure my Intel Pro
Wireless 2200 card. I have installed firmware and the original WBEL
ipw2200 driver. But when I try
modprobe ipw2200 and see /var/log/messages, there are these messages:
May 28 17:47:29 Hammer kernel:
May 28 17:47:29 Hammer kernel: ipw2200: ipw2200_boot.fw load failed
May 28 17:47:29 Hammer kernel: ipw2200: Unable to load firmware: 0xFFFFFFFE
May 28 17:47:29 Hammer kernel: ipw2200: Failed to up device
May 28 17:47:44 Hammer hald[1952]: Timed out waiting for hotplug event
318. Rebasing to 319
I tried to fix this problem by increasing timeout via
echo 100 >/sys/class/firmware/timeout
but it doesn't work.
Help, please help, I'm desperate
