[WBEL-users] installing Dev tools

I am trying to install the development tools from the 'add/remove' 
panel. after i select what i want to install it scans my computer to see 
what i have already installed then it complains that i need,"unixODBC   
('MyODBC','2.50.39','21'REL4.1')
        "libodbcinst.so.1"  ('MyODBC','2.50.39','21'REL4.1')

I downloaded the unixODBC RPM and tried to install it but it says that 
there is a newer version already installed. can you please help me with 
this?
