Yea, and won't quite build correctly.  You have to at least twiddle the
.spec a bit or it builds packages with funky package names to make it
clear they are homerolled.  Which means bye bye third party drivers.  I
know my getting behind is a PITA.  If anyone really needs a kernel NOW
though, have a quick readthrough of the .spec or just have a look at the
.spec for the one on the CDs, it is a very simple fix to get a clean
build, RH appears to have basically put a 'you must be semi clueful to
build a kernel' test in.  Was probably getting too many support requests
for what turned out to be homerolled kernels.
