Hi Will,
With the help of a friend who started the initial steps, the syslinux.cfg is
the one that is pulling up with the menu items.
So,. my initial steps were pre-done for me.
I modified the syslinux.cfg slightly - it had its own kernel and was booting
into a kernel my friend put on it.
I then changed the
KERNEL kernel
to
KERNEL memdisk
and indeed the menu loaded the correct image.
so,. now I'm pulling up the White Box Installation setup, but encountering a
problem:
I want to do an FTP or HTTP installation. When I select either one of
them, I'm being prompted with:
No driver found.
Unable to find any devices of the type needed for this installtion type.
Would you like to manually select your driver or use a driver disk?
What am I missing from the boot process to make this work? (need network
services to be able to config network device).
