Yes your packages will be outdated as many updates to the stock package 
versions have been released.
Stock yum version for WBEL 4 respin 1 is yum-2.0.6-1 (or some version 
very close to), yum is up to v2.6 or so now.

What does your config look like?

Packages can be downloaded from freshrpms.net(good), rpmfind.net, 
pbone.net, dagweirs, etc..

Here is my version that I updated to, plus my config.  Im sure others on 
this list are running newer versions but 2.2 works for me.
