My zonefiles are up-to-date -- I have tzdata-2006<mumble>el3 installed.
For some reason the /etc/localzone file did not get updated when the
tzdata package was updated, probably because my glibc is somewhat
out-of-date (I am not about to download an up-to-date set of glibc RPMs
over a slow dialup connection). Doing the cp fixed things.
