I did try 2 different slots some of the long one's and the short ones. I also have<BR>
2 different cars a 64bit (long slot server) NIC and a standard short one but they both<BR>
did the same thing.<BR>

<FONT COLOR="#000000">My guess is that you're trying to put a 2nd NIC in a brainded PCI slot</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">that wrongly share ressources with your IDE controller. </FONT>
