Linda this is such an honor! I still can't believe it. 

 

I will be attending with a friend of mine. His name is Dean Harrison. We
won't stay overnight as I have an early meeting the next morning. 

 

Is this all that you need to know from me at this time? 

 

Also, is it customary for the recipient to give an acceptance speech of
sorts? And how long to they usually last?

Here is the information for the Author Dinner.  I am mailing you a completed
brochure.

 

I am so happy for you!!    A room will be booked for you..usually at
LauBerge........will send info when I receive it.

 

You are allowed a guest.  Your meal, hotel and gas will be taken care of by
Library Southwest.
