Thanks you guys so much. Staying overnight would have been so awesome and much needed but we are in the middle of wrangling over our budget request for next year and the commissioner scheduled a meeting at 730 the next morning that is a critical meeting. I will be attending with a friend of mine. His name is Dean Harrison. We won’t stay overnight as I have an early meeting the next morning.

Also, is it customary for the recipient to give an acceptance speech of sorts? And how long to they usually last?

I am so happy for you!!    A room will be booked for you….usually at LauBerge………………….will send info when I receive it.

You are allowed a guest.  Your meal, hotel and gas will be taken care of by Library Southwest.
