Good afternoon, everyone:

As you may know, the Beauregard Parish Library is sending all of its
interested employees to ALA 2018 in New Orleans. We have secured a tour
bus and have some available seats. Erin and I discussed it, and there will
be no charge for other LSW library employees to join us on the bus. You
are, of course, responsible for all of your other conference-related
costs.

Those interested in riding with the BPL crew need to be at our main branch
in DeRidder at 205 South Washington Ave. at 8 a.m. on 6/22/2018. We will
be returning between 2 and 3 p.m. on 6/26/2018.  The drop off point in New
Orleans is at the Hampton Inn across from the Morial Convention
Center(where the conference is being held). All of the other conference
hotels are a short walk, cab or trolley ride away.

Please let me know if you or any of your coworkers would like to ride with
us. Seats are limited and will be reserved in order of request. Your seat
on the bus is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from
me.
