[Lswtalk] Meeting next week

My father, 91, fell Thur. afternoon and broke his hip. He is in ICU, and
because of his age, low oxygen, failing kidneys, are not going to operate.
I am in West Monroe with my mother, who can no longer drive, and has some
memory loss. Not sure what the future holds. I have talked to my Board
chair, and will talk to her again Sunday night, may retire, or work by
Internet, come back to Leesville once a week and catalog all one night, for
several months until we know more. Mother is in denial as to the prospects,
after 7 years of marriage. They are very dependent on one another. Not sure
how long I can hold out.

I am sorry about this, you can still meet in my office if you like, but I
won't be there. My staff will take good care of you.

I am not ready to retire, but may have no choice. I covet your prayers, I
have faith God will not put on us more than we can bear, and is in
control...saying His will be done is difficult for me, and he is worrying
about mother, as am I.
