Exactly. And for about $800 for a single subscription I can download the
SRPMS, rebuild the whole OS and roll it out to my 70 something servers and
be done. They are betting that people such as myself are very limited and no
matter what they did they couldn't make the kind of money they expect from
me. Are they going to install crippleware or reinvent the way they do
business just so they can $800 from me? I doubt it.

More to the point, however.. How will we handle errata notifications on this
project?

Bzzz!  Wrong answer.  The GPL only states you have to give the source to
people you give the binaries to.  Since you can only get the binaries w/a
support contract and RHN, they only have to provide the source to those
people.
